WHY BUY USED KIAS FROM GOLIATH AUTO SALES?

We realize many dealerships have used cars for sale in Tucson, but we think we’ve got what it takes to earn your business for a lifetime. It all starts with fair pricing that’s based on local market conditions for optimum value. And remember, that comes on top of the already low cost you can expect to pay for most used cars just based on depreciation. The typical used car or SUV can see its price reduced by more than 20% because of first-year depreciation, and rates continue to rise as time goes by. By the time a car’s five years old, it’s often depreciated by some 60% or more. You can also benefit from lower insurance costs when you buy a pre-owned Kia to significantly reduce your ongoing ownership costs.

For a further financial advantage, buying a used car from Goliath Auto Sales can help you save on sales tax. In fact, despite our Tucson address, we’re actually located in Pima County, where the city’s 2.6% sales tax doesn’t apply.

Concerned about coming into our showroom? Don’t be, as even though our dealership is clean and ready for business, we can handle just about the whole process online if you prefer, complete with virtual vehicle walkarounds.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF KIA

Kia is a Korean transportation pioneer that was born as the Kyungsung Precision Industry and built its country's first mass-produced bicycles beginning in 1951. The company took on the name Kia in 1952, then took a logical step forward by starting to build motorcycles — under license from Honda — in 1957. Mazda-licensed trucks and cars came next, in 1962 and 1974. It wasn’t until the launch of the Kia Sephia in 1993 that the company evolved to designing and manufacturing its own cars. That didn’t last long, however, as Kia was swept up by the global financial crisis of the late 1990s and bought out by its rival, the Hyundai Motor Company. Today, Kia remains a division of Hyundai but with its own distinct design identity that’s bolstered by a strong U.S. manufacturing presence for both brands.
